1. Introduction
GGiT ("we", "us", "our") is committed to handling the information you share with us responsibly. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how it is stored, and your rights in relation to it. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
2. Information We Collect
When you submit the contact form on this website, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Company name
- Phone number (optional)
- Project type, budget range, desired timeline, and existing website
- IP address and submission attempts for spam prevention
- Project details and notes you choose to share
When enabled, we also collect usage information through Google Analytics 4, and we measure aggregate visits with Vercel Web Analytics (both described in Section 5). Submission IP addresses are also recorded for spam prevention.
3. How We Use Your Information
Information submitted through the contact form is used to:
- Respond to your enquiry and recommend the most relevant service path
- Manage and maintain the client relationship if an engagement follows
- Analyse which services attract the most interest, to inform how we describe and present our services , for our own internal marketing
We do not use your contact information to send unsolicited marketing emails, add you to mailing lists, or contact you for any purpose unrelated to your enquiry or an active engagement with GGiT.
4. Data Storage and Security
Contact form submissions are stored in a secure, access-controlled database. We use Neon (a serverless PostgreSQL provider) for database hosting. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). We retain submitted data only for as long as it is relevant to an active or potential engagement, or as required for ordinary business record-keeping. We do not keep data indefinitely.
While we take reasonable precautions to protect your information, no system is completely secure. We will notify affected individuals promptly in the event of a data breach that affects their personal data.
5. Website Analytics
When configured, this website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 is operated by Google LLC. Through GA4, we collect anonymised data including:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Approximate geographic region (country or region level)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Traffic source (how you arrived at the site)
- Session and interaction events (e.g. button clicks)
GA4 uses IP anonymisation by default. We do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalisation features. The data is used solely to understand how our site is performing and where content or navigation can be improved. Google may process this data on servers outside your country of residence. For details on how Google handles data, see Google's Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of GA4 tracking at any time by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
This website also uses Vercel Web Analytics, provided by Vercel Inc., our hosting provider, to measure aggregate visits. It does not use cookies and does not track visitors across other websites or applications. For each page view it may record the page URL, referrer, filtered query parameters, approximate location (country, region, and city), browser, operating system, device type, and a timestamp.
Instead of cookies, Vercel identifies a visit using a hash created from the incoming request, which is discarded after 24 hours, so the data is not tied to any individual or IP address and is used only for aggregated statistics. We do not sell this data, and it is not shared beyond Vercel processing it on our behalf. For details, see Vercel's Web Analytics privacy documentation.
6. Cookies
This website uses cookies for analytics through Google Analytics 4, plus one functional cookie that remembers the language you choose with the language switch. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies. No advertising or tracking cookies are set. The cookies are:
These cookies use identifiers associated with your browser. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to use this website, but it will prevent GA4 analytics data from being collected during your visit and the site will not remember your language choice.
7. Data Retention
Contact form data is retained for the duration of any active or potential client engagement and for a reasonable period thereafter for business record-keeping purposes. Once data is no longer needed, it is deleted. GA4 data is retained in accordance with our GA4 account settings (default 14 months for event-level data).
8. Your Rights
You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, or to request deletion of your data where it is no longer needed. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the form on this website or via the email address in the contact section. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted here with the effective date. Material changes will be noted clearly.
10. Contact
Questions, data requests, or privacy concerns can be directed through the contact form on this website or via the email address listed in the contact section. We take privacy concerns seriously and will respond promptly.
